Marketing is a science just like chemistry and physics. You must develop hypothesis, research your market, conduct marketing "experiments", measure your results and refine.

No matter how clever and compelling you believe your marketing message to be out of the box, the market and your prospects will be the ultimate arbiter. Unless you measure results and continually test and refine your marketing message and processes you have zero chance of obtaining the best return on your marketing investment.
